The e-reader company Pocketbook, has recently introduced a 7.8-inch device making use of latest colors machinery. Apart from this, the Inkpad color will be available in the United States and the European Market. According to the company, this is the first device with a new Kaleido panel.

This device comes with the 7.8-inch display along with 1404 x 1872 screen resolution. Also, this device uses the brand new E-Ink Color Panel. The company also share, that screen refresh rate has been upgraded in the software. Furthermore this device puts forward 300 dpi resolution for the monochrome content as well as 100 dpi for displaying colors. Talking about the battery, the device is powered by a 2,900mAh battery. In addition the device runs on LUnix-based operating system.
‘The new Kaleido in this device is a brand new technology in itself. As, this upgraded Kaleido has new version color filter pattern, offering better contrast and color saturation as compared to the first Kaleido.’ As revealed by the company.
The device also supports Wi-fi and Bluetooth for connectivity as well as audio-files and text-to-speech. Moreover it supports numerous file format. These file format includes e-Pub, PDF, CBR, CBZ, FB2, HTML, MOBI and many more. This device is powered by a dual-core 1GHz CPU along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. The users can also expand the storage capacity by adding a microSD card to it.
The device is now available for purchasing at the price of $329. The upgraded features are definitely going to make the device more useful.
