Nicki Minaj’s father was reported dead by the media in a hit- and run accident in New York. Her father Robert Maraj was 64. Maraj was struck by some vehicle, while he was walking on the roadway on Roslyn road.The incident happened on February 12, 2021, Friday. According to the detective agencies, a vehicle which was heading northbound, struck Maraj at the intersection of Raff Avenue around 6 pm. The vehicle is not yet identified by the police. The vehicle fled the accident scene.
Maraj who was in a critical condition was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital. The next day, he was declared dead. Although the case is under investigation, a suspect has not been found yet.Nicki Minaj is an American rapper, singer, actress, writer and model. Minaj has once revealed that her father was violent with her mother, and has once set fire to their home with her mother inside. She also opened up to the media that, she would stand in front of her mother to rescue her from her father. In her 2018 documentary Queen, she demonstrated how she used to put her arms out to protect her mother.
She also said that, from a very young age, she had vowed that no man would ever abuse her, call her out by her name or treat her like that. Also, she adds that, but then she realizes that it was her life all of a sudden.Minaj had an unhappy childhood and it reflected in her songs too. Minaj was famous for her colourful costumes and wigs in the earlier days of her career. Minaj is well known for her rapping styles, and her unique style of singing. Minaj has yet not publicly addressed her father’s death.
