Katie Bates 20-year-old reality TV star from “Bringing up the Bates” has finally made a public announcement that she’s engaged t0 the gospel singer Tarvis Baker, also 20 who popped the big question on 7th April in Key West, Florida, He planned a surprise proposal with both their parents with them.
Couple’s History:
The Couple met in the year 2019 through their mutual friends and a year after that in 2020 they knew they liked each other and the news was officially made in March 2020 that the duo has started dating although the couple made many sneaky gestures for each other on their social media on many occasions displaying their love for each other.
The couple began their relationship as a long-distance relationship, they stayed connected via the internet, social media, and video calling apps. The couple first met in Clark’s hometown New Jersey then made trips back and forth to Tennessee where Katie lives with her family.
The couple also made sweet gestures for each other despite being in a long-distance relationship by sending each other a little something often like pizza deliveries, ice cream, etc.
They’ve posted together celebrating Valentine’s day, casual gateways and recently it was the singer’s birthday and Katie posted adorable pictures of them with the caption “HAPPY BIRTHDAY I love you.”
Engagement in 2021:
As mentioned above the couple recently got engaged, Travis planned the whole thing took the parents and Katie to Florida.
For the proposal, Travis arranged it in an Ocean pier gazebo with the scenic view he arranged a huge floral display with red roses by Duarte Floral Design and a sign that had “Will you marry me?” written on it and with everything from candles to flowers, Clark even performed a song for Katie specially written for her, he sang it before he proposed her for the sentimental value that made everything even more special.
Clarks told sources that, “Seeing Katie’s reaction was the highlight of the evening! Her smile was worth it all!”
The couple has finally taken it to the next step and it’s adorable!
