The Witcher 3: Wild Hunter is a great game for all the fans of an action role-playing game. Its storyline is main reason why fans loved it. But there is an unexpected thing that we came across that Cyberpunk 2077 is compared with it and here we are going to talk about it.
The Total Size Of The Witcher 3
This incredible game takes place in two regions that it
- the free city of Novigrad is surrounded by the Northern Realam
- the island nation of Skellige to the west
As we know that the surrounding region of Novigrad is about 72 square kilometres and Skellige is around 64 square kilometres. This proves that this game is approximately 136 square kilometres in size.
Due to Blood and Wine expansion, it adds the duchy of Toussaint. It is approximately considered that the duchy is around 8 square kilometres in size. So as a result we came to know that the total size of its explorable map at around 142 square kilometres.
When we compare it with Grand Theft Auto 5’s Los Santos is about 127 square kilometres as Skyrim’s map approximate size is 38.5 square kilometres.
This proved two things –
- Skyrim’s map is estimated to be 3.5 smaller than The Wicher 3’s Map.
- The Witcher 3’s map is about 1.1 times larger than Los Santos.
The Size Of Cyberpunk’s Night City
We can consider that The Night City map is approximate 24 square kilometres overall. This only states that the total map for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is approximately 6 times larger than the base map for Cyberpunk 2077.
We even come to know that Night City is smaller in terms of playable space as Night City is a city on the coast. To solve this problem, Night City has a dense metropolis, which shows that something is missing in The Witcher 3’s and that is vertical height.
