Destiny is an online multiplayer game developed by Bungie. It was released in 2014, worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and microsoft windows. It was released as pay to play at first. But soon became free for players to play this game without paying.
Game Play
It is a role playing game as a first person shooter. It is a shared world shooter game. It doesn’t allow players to communicate with any other player, they can only communicate with the player they are matched with. This can be played in player versus environment mode as well as player versus player mode.
Sequels
Destiny was released in September 2014. And it’s sequel, destiny 2 was officially announced on 27 March 2017. A full teaser for this game was released on 30th March same year. The game was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in September 2017. But it was released exclusively on Battle.net, in which the player has to pay to play the game. Later in 2019, the game was published for steam instead of battle.net so that player can play this game without spending a single penny.
Reviews
The game mostly recieved positive reviews but it still faced some criticism regarding the plot and storyline of the game. Positive reviews centered the game’s graphics and visuals. It recieved BAFTA award in 2014 for the best game.
