The God of High School is a Korean Manhwa. Manhwa are now nearly as popular as Japanese Manga. The Manhwa are more famous when they adapt the Webtoon form.
The creator of this manhwa is Yongje Park, who worked on writing as well as the illustrations of this work. The manhwa was first released in April 2011, and since then it has been adapted into a game as well as an anime series.
The God of High School Plot
The manhwa is about a tournament which is organised in Seoul Korea, by a martial arts foundation called The God of High School. First fought on regional levels, then nationally, the winners are ultimately chosen for the world tournament from this.
After winning, the winner gets asked about their wish and the judges of the tournament fulfil those wishes without any questions. Our 17 year old protagonist, Mori Jin, is a martial arts artist who aims at winning the tournament. Similar to him are many other artists who aim at winning the tournament, attracted by its unique and promising winning prize of wish. On his journey towards the win, he is challenged by many strong opponents- some even carrying the borrowed power of the Gods.

A new chapter of the Manhwa is released every week. The fans get to enjoy a new published chapter every Thursday. But due some reasons, the episodes stopped coming out since July. The 525th episode was suppose to come out on 16 July 2021, however it didn’t.
There has been no official announcement by the publishers either.This break can be seen as a blessing in disguise by people who were wishing to start reading the manhwa. The episodes are available on platforms like-
