Written and illustrated by Jun Mochizuki, ‘The Case Study Of Vanitas’ is a popular supernatural-fantasy Japanese manga series. The manga is being serialized in Square Enix‘s Monthly Gangan Joker since December 2015. It is licensed by Yen Press for it’s English release in North America.
Due to it’s popularity and compelling storyline, it got adapted into an anime television series by studio Bones premiering it’s first episode on July 3, 2021. However, soon it was revealed that this series was going to be a split-cour anime with 12 episodes in each part or season as fans refer to it.
The Case Study Of Vanitas Season 2: Renewal Status
‘The Case Study of Vanitas’ season 1 was released in July 2021, and aired for 12 episodes before concluding on September 18, 2021. However, even before the final episode of the season premiered, the official Twitter handle of the anime confirmed on September 17, 2021 the renewal of it’s forthcoming season. ‘The Case Study Of Vanitas Season 2’ is scheduled to premiere in January 2022 (Winter anime season).
