My Senpai Is Annoying is a Japanese romantic comedy and slice of life manga series written and illustrated by Shiro Manta. Since 2017, this series is being serialized in an online manga magazine platform, Ichijinsha Comic POOL and has been accumulated in eight volumes till now. The manga is authorized by Seven Seas Entertainment in North America for it’s English release.
Recently, this manga series received an anime television series adaptation which is produced by the studio Doga Kobo that premiered on October 10, 2021. The anime series is scripted by Yoshimi Narita under the direction of Ryota Itoh. The license for streaming this anime series has been acquired by Funimation and Muse Communication.

The story revolves around a woman named Futaba Igarashi, an independent and hard working office worker who often gets mistaken as a child due to her short stature and childlike face. At office, she always complains about her tall and boisterous senior named Harumi Takeda, whose paternalist behavior annoys Futaba. However, the protagonist’s friends and colleagues believe that she internally carries feelings for her senior but is in denial.
