Despite its recent release, Kaiju No. 8 has quickly become one of the most popular works, with fans all around the world wondering when the popular manga would be adapted into an anime.

Kaiju No. 8 Anime Release Date
Assuming we have enough content by 2023, the anime adaptation will be announced during the Jump Fest Event in December 2023. During this event, which takes place at the end of the year, almost all of Shueisha’s anime projects are unveiled.

Kafka aspires to fulfill his promise to his childhood buddy Mina to join the Japan Defense Forces one day. Kafka, on the other hand, is stuck cleaning up the aftermath of her battles while she’s off neutralizing kaiju as the Third Division captain. Kafka now has a second chance to realize his dream, thanks to a surprise eligibility rule change. There’s only one problem: he’s been transformed into a kaiju! Worse, he’s been added to the Defense Force’s list of targets for neutralization as Kaiju No. 8.
